Auto Expo is the biggest automobile show in India, and has been held, every year, during the months of February or March. Auto Expo is the best platform for the manufacturers to exhibit their latest cars and there is a great amount of attention given to cars/bikes which are exhibited at the Auto Expo. Auto Expo 2016 will be held in two venues, from February 5-9. Auto Expo- The Motor Show, will be held atIndia Expo Mart in Greater Noida and Auto Expo- Component Show, at PragatiMaidan.Auto Expo-The Motor Show had been held at PragatiMaidan, New Delhi, till 2013. 2014 saw the event being shifted to Greater Noida, and in spite of the distance to be travelled, there was no dearth of auto enthusiasts. The India Expo Mart has more than 58 acres of land, which has around 60,000 sqmts of exhibition area, convention facilities, business lounges, VIP lounges, restaurants, warehouse facilities, parking and storage areas. The exhibition halls are Wi-Fi enabled and there is centralized public address system and CCTV coverage. Botanical Garden Metro station and India Expo Mart will be connected by free bus services, during the days of the show. Food courts and multi-cuisine restaurants are available at the site of the show.

10.00 am-1 pm is the business hours on February 5th, 8th and 9th, during which time only the people with business hour tickets can visit the exhibition.  However, the business hour ticket holders are allowed to stay on till 6 pm, if they wish to. The general public is allowed to visit the show from 10 am-7 pm on February 6th and 7th, the weekends. The general public, on February 5th, 8th and 9th, are allowed inside only from 1 pm-6pm. The business hours tickets are priced at Rs 650 per person and the general public hours tickets are priced at Rs 300 per person, on February 5th, 8th and 9th.  The general public hours tickets, for the weekend, February 6th and 7th is Rs 400 per person.

Some of the manufacturers participating in the Auto Expo 2016 are Ashok Leyland, Audi, BMW, Force, General Motors, Ford, Hero, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Mahindra&Mahindra, Maruti-Suzuki, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Piaggio, Renault, Revolta, Suzuki Motorcycles, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar, TVS Motor Company,  UM India Two Wheelers Private Limited, VE Commercial vehicles, Volkswagen Group, etc. The main organizers of the Auto Expo are Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
